Insurance

The cost of routine eye exams and prescription eyewear can be of real concern, especially for large families. In many cases, vision insurance can lower these annual expenses.

A vision insurance policy is not the same as health insurance. Regular health insurance plans protect you against financial losses due to unexpected eye injuries or disease. Vision insurance, on the other hand, is a wellness benefit designed to provide routine eye care, prescription eyewear and other vision-related services at a reduced cost.

Because we provide both medical and routine eye care, we accept a number of insurance plans to help cover the cost depending on your individual needs. Here are just some of the plans that we accept:

Medical Plans we accept

  • Aetna
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Galaxy Health Networks
  • Medicare
  • Multiplan
  • PHCS

COVID 19 Update

We want you to know that your health and well-being is our top priority at Focusing on Eye Care. In following recommendations provided by the CDC, we have implemented new protocols at our office in order to protect the health of our patients and our team.

Every patient and a staff member will be screened. This will include a temperature check and brief health questionnaire assessing COVID 19 risk. This applies to all patients and their accompanying guests. Should you or a guest have a temperature indicating a fever, have any upper respiratory issues such as cough or shortness of breath, have recently traveled to a high-risk zone, or have had recent contact with a COVID 19 patient you will be asked to reschedule your appointment for a later date until you are well or clear of any potential illness for a minimum of 14 days.

Focusing on Eye Care is also taking additional measures to maintain a healthy environment for everyone by limiting our hours of operation, increased cleaning and disinfecting throughout the day, and limiting patient visits to our clinic by appointment only.

As we continue to practice social distancing, we ask that patients please come to their appointment unaccompanied. If you are requiring a guest to accompany you, we are limiting the number of guests in our facilities to 1 per patient, and we ask that you only bring a guest with you if it is absolutely necessary.

In addition, we are asking all employees, patients, and their guests to wear face coverings while in our facilities at all times.

Thank you for all your cooperation and support.

Stay Well,

Focusing on Eye Care
